Your name is Althea but we call you Alfie we even spell it Elfie sometimes, it is fitting for someone like you who can bring magic to the world. Elves are like that you know...:) We have been married now for fourteen years though to me it seems like yesterday that I jumped at the chance to say I do. You more than anyone has made my life big and full, happy and rich with wonder and awe. How could I ever tell you how much you mean to me. You, dear soul are my very world.
| There is true magic in the world when we stop looking for the mirrors and the gimmicks. | |||||||||||||||||

To share secrets, to trust in tommoros, to laugh out load in silly meaninglessness just because I can without fear of judgment or ridicule. To dream of what I must and share those little fears that mean nothing really. Having the understanding of my mortal imperfections and not having it matter...these are but a few of the magic spells cast on me by Althea.
| So what's it all about Alfie...Don't tell me, let me discover it slowly in your arms. | |||||||||||||||||

Thank you for it all Elfie, I hope the many years comming on down the road will be half as blissful as the past fourteen have been. You have made me a very happy man. I shall never curse my luck. For I shall love you forever!
To Althea, from Prison When love with unconfind wings Hovers within my gates, And my divine Althea brings To whisper at the grates; When I lie tangled in her hair And fetter'd to her eye, The birds that wanton in the air Know no such liberty. When flowing cups run swiftly round With no allaying Thames, Our careless heads with roses bound, Our hearts with loyal flames; When thirsty grief in wine we steep, When healths and draughts go free Fishes that tipple in the deep Know no such liberty. When, like committed linnets, I With shriller throat shall sing The sweetness, mercy, majesty, And glories of my King; When I shall voice aloud how good He is, how great should be, Enlargd winds, that curl the flood, Know no such liberty. Stone walls do not a prison make, Nor iron bars a cage; Minds innocent and quiet take That for an hermitage; If I have freedom in my love And in my soul am free, Angels alone, that soar above, Enjoy such liberty.
